The first two local workshops for facilitators were held in Bulgaria at the Municipality of Aksakovo and the Municipality of Pazardzhik.
The first meeting was attended by representatives of local administrations, staff from the local action group, and NGOs, while the second meeting was aimed at staff and managers of consulting firms, trainers, and coaching specialists.
The workshops aimed to raise public awareness about the creation and operation of Smart Villages and the need for new knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as appropriate behaviors in the context of a Smart Village.
