RURALED lands in Ireland

RURALED Project partners met in Ireland to discuss the next operational steps of the project. The meeting focused mainly on the drafting of the “Training Toolkit,” a training tool essential for the success of future activities. This toolkit represents a practical guide that will be used during the implementation of the Scenario Workshops, planned in the rural areas selected to become “Smart Villages.”

The goal of these Scenario Workshops will be to train the local adult population, providing specific skills to foster sustainable development and integration of new technologies in villages, transforming them into smart and resilient communities. During the meeting, they discussed how to structure the toolkit in a way that makes it accessible and easily adaptable to different local realities, aiming to maximize the effectiveness of Community Agricultural Policy (CAP) funds.

Participants also established a timeline for the completion of activities, stressing the importance of cooperation among partners and synergies with local communities to ensure that Scenario Workshops have a concrete and lasting impact in the transformation process of Europe’s rural areas.
