The mapping phase of the Ruraled project has successfully come to an end.
Throughout this phase, all partners have been interviewing various actors involved in the implementation of the Smart Village Strategy. These interviews were aimed at validating the best practices and set of competences by third-party experts and reporting the training needs of rural communities both at a local and a European level.
We have attentively gathered important information on Italian, German, Bulgarian, Irish and Ukranian innovative practices, focusing our attention on learning about transversal competences, embedded in the European frameworks. By focusing on these areas (LifeComp, EntreComp, GreenComp and DigiComp), we aim to foster a comprehensive understanding that will tackle the gaps and needs of rural areas and help support the development of sustainable Smart Villages.
The insights gained from this phase will provide a solid foundation for the project’s next steps.
As we move forward, the competences (or lack of them) and best practices identified will be fundamental in shaping our tools.
We are excited about the potential impact of the Ruraled Project and look forward to the continued collaboration and innovation it will inspire.
